Angel Food Candy

Angel Food Candy, a vintage handwritten recipe card.

Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
1 cup dark syrup
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon soda

Chocolate

Method 

Cook sugar, syrup and vinegar to 300-degrees or hard crack. Take off heat and add soda. Pour into 9x13 pan and cool. Cut or break and dip in chocolate.

DO  NOT DISTURB UNTIL COLD OR IT WILL FLOP!!

Hard crack is when some of the syrup dropped into cold water make a crackling sound and gets hard.
