Baked Custard

Ingredients

1 pint milk, heat but do not boil
3 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

Beat eggs light add sugar and beat then pour hot milk on sugar and eggs.  Flavor mild with vanilla and pour into custard cups.  Sit in outer pan of hot water and bake at 325-degrees until done.  Test by inserting knife into custard, if it comes out clean it is done.
