Corn Meal Mush

Corn Meal Mush

Ingredients

4 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup cornmeal (yellow)

Method

Bring salt and water to a brisk boil.  Add cornmeal very gradually, stirring constantly, and cook 5 to 7 minutes over direct heat.  

To keep hot for serving; cover and place over boiling water in a double boiler.
