Cranberry Bread

Cranberry Bread, a vintage handwritten recipe card

Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour, dash salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup cranberries, cut in 1/4's

Method

Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.  Beat eggs, add sugars and beat until quite light. Stir in sour cream and flour mixture alternately. Fold in nuts and berries. Pour in a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350-degrees for 1 hour. 

Let stand for a few minutes before removing from pan.
