Dorothy Billen's Pineapple Sheet Cake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
1 can (large) pineapple, with juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Method

Mix all the above together, pour into oblong baking dish, and bake 25 minutes at 350-degrees.

Icing

Ingredients

1 can pet milk
1 stick Olea
1 cup sugar
1 cup coconut
1 cup pecans

Method

Bring to a boil and boil 10 minutes: 

1 can pet milk
1 stick oleo
1 cup sugar

Then add 1 cup coconut and 1 cup pecans and spread on cake while it is still warm.
