Martha Washington Candy

Ingredients

2 boxes confectioners' sugar
1 stick margarine [softened]
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 quart. pecans (chopped)
1 can condensed milk
1 bar semi-sweet chocolate squares [12 oz]
[1 bar paraffin wax]

Method

Mix together all ingredients except chocolate and paraffin together.  Make into balls and dip into chocolate with a toothpick.  Put on wax paper & place pecan [half] on top.   (It's better to put balls in the freezer for 15-20 minutes before dipping in choc-paraffin mixture.) 

Notes:
There is no mention of paraffin in the original ingredients. After some research in other cookbooks, I found that 1 ounce of paraffin to 12 ounces of chocolate seems to be the correct ratio of the chocolate mixture.
