Pea Salad

Pea Salad


1 pound bacon, fried and crumbled
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup cashew nuts, chopped
2 or 3 packages frozen peas, partially thawed
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 large carton sour cream
salt and pepper to taste 


Combine and age 24 hours.

I only used 1/2 pound bacon. Used peanuts instead of cashews, added a little curry to sour cream.

Similar to the salad we had at the Fairway Restaurant at Wailea Golf Course, Maui.
