Peggy's Biscuits


2 cups flour
1/3 cup Crisco
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk


Cut Crisco in flour, baking powder, salt until mixture resembles coarse meal.  Add buttermilk, blend in milk.  {Place} dough on a well-floured surface.  Knead, roll 1/2 inch thick, cut.  Bake on a greased baking sheet at 425-degrees for 20 minutes.  

Serves 15.
