Caramel Walnut Cake

Caramel Walnut Cake


1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon light corn syrup
1 cup chopped Diamond Walnuts
1/2 Betty Crocker Yellow Cake Mix batter


Melt 1/3 cup butter.  Bring to boil with 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon light corn syrup.  Pour into ungreased 9-inch square pan.  Arrange 1 cup chopped Diamond Walnuts.  Top with half of Betty Crocker Yellow Cake Mix batter.  

Bake 35 minutes at 350-degrees.  Invert immediately, leaving pan over cake 1 minute.  


This is especially good served warm.
