Pork Casserole

Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups of milk
2 eggs
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cups cooked pork, diced
1/2 cup chopped almonds or other nut meats
1 can chow mein noodles

Method

Melt butter and blend in flour, cook until thick, add milk gradually. Add a small amount of white sauce to slightly beaten egg yolks. Mix well and add to the rest of the white sauce, add Worcestershire sauce. Fold in pork, nuts, noodles, and stiffly beaten egg whites. 

Pour into a 5.5 x 10.5-inch buttered loaf pan.

Bake in a 350-degree for 45 minutes. 

Serves six.
