Seven Minute Frosting

Ingredients

2 unbeaten egg whites
1 1/2 cups sugar
Dash salt
1/3 cup water
2 teaspoons light corn syrup
1 teaspooon vanilla

Method

In the top of a double boiler mix:  2 unbeaten egg whites, 1 1/2 cups sugar, a dash of salt, 1/2 cup water, 2 teaspoons light corn syrup.  Beat over boiling water with a rotary beater or at high speed of an electric mixer 7 minutes or until frosting stands in stiff peaks.  Remove from {boiling} water, add 1 teaspoon vanilla, beat 1 minute.
