Union Pacific Fruit Punch

Ingredients

1 cup water
2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups orange juice
2 cups sugar
4 quarts (16 cups) ginger ale or carbonated water

Method

Boil sugar and water three minutes.  Add fruit juice and sufficient water to make 4 quarts liquid.  Chill.  Just before serving add ginger ale or carbonated water.  Garnish with ice cubes in which fresh strawberries are frozen.
