Barbecued Hamburgers

Barbecued Hamburgers

Ingredients

1/3 pound of ground chuck for each person served

Salt
Pepper

Barbecue Sauce

Method

Allow at least 1/3 pound of ground chuck for each to be served. Mix it very lightly with salt and pepper and forum in large cakes about 1-inch thick. Tear from your roll of heavy foil a little longer than your grate. Lay it on the grate, twisting the edges over the grate ends to secure it.

Then take a fork and punch lots of holes through the foil so the excel juices can run out. Now you have protection against flames without slowing down the cooking at all, as aluminum transmits heat so quickly that it is just as if the foil wasn’t there. Place hamburgers on foil and broil, turning once or twice. Baste with barbeque sauce.
