Biscuits

3-4 tablespoons shortening
2 cups flour
1 cup milk

Knead lightly, roll 1/2 inch thick. Bake 475-degrees for 10-12 minutes. 

 

Pancakes

1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons sugar
3 tablespoons melted shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 cup milk
