Caramels - Dorothy Jones

A vintage handwritten recipe card for Caramels


2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cup white Karo
2 sticks butter - use real butter
2 cups half & half


Cook all but 1 cup of the half & half until boiling good, then slowly add the cup of half & half. Stir always until the firm ball stage. Pour into a 9x13 pan, let cook then cut and wrap.
