Ingredients

1 recipe pastry, use 2 cups of flour

1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup cream
2 eggs, well beaten
3 tablespoons melted margarine
2 1/2 cups chopped apples
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup seedless raisins

Peeled apple crescents
Sugar

Method

Line pie pan with pastry set aside.

Mix sugar, flour, salt, and spices together. 

Stir in cream, eggs, and melted butter. 

Add chopped apples 1 cup of nuts and raisins. 

Mix well.

Bake at 450-degrees for 8 minutes. Reduce heat to 350-degrees. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Decorate with crescents, sprinkle with nuts and sugar.
