The part menus include menus for "Breakfast in key with the season", "A gala dessert served at the table", "A smart serve-yourself supper", "Over the friendly cup of tea", "A party for a little girl or boy", "Practical treats for picnics", and "Christmas cakes and puddings". The Christmas menu consists of grapefruit and tokay cocktail, roast turkey with celery stuffing and giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, creamed onions, baked squash, cranberry sauce, endive salad with chiffonade dressing, Christmas plum pudding or fruit cake, candies, nuts, and demi-tasse. "It is best to make these holiday desserts two or three weeks before Christmas so that they will have time to ripen. Store them in air-tight containers, and put them away in a cool, dry place."
