Pie Crust of Cornflakes

A vintage typed recipe for a Cornflake Pie Crust; make this pie crust with cornflakes, margarine, and sugar. Line the sides and bottom of a pie plate with the cornflake mixture, pressing well with fingertips. Let stand until cold and fill with a gelatine made pie filling.

Ingredients

3 cups cornflakes
1/4 cup margarine
2 tablespoons sugar
 

Method

Mash 3 cups of cornflakes well. Soften 1/4 cup of margarine with 2 tablespoons sugar, add the mashed cornflakes, mixing well. Line the sides and bottom of a pie plate, pressing well with finger tips. Let stand until cold and fill with a gelatine made pie filling.
