No Egg Chocolate Cake

A vintage handwritten recipe for a No Egg Chocolate Cake


3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoon soda
12 tablespoons oil
12 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups water
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons vinegar


3 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons skim milk
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoons butter flavor
1/2 teaspoon vanilla


Mix flour, sugar, soda, and cocoa in a mixing bowl. Then add water, vanilla, oil, and vinegar. Mix well and pour into a 9x13 ungreased pan.

Bake at 375-degrees for 30-40 minutes.
