Ingredients

1/2 pound butter or 1 cup Crisco
3 cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
6 eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teapoon baking soda
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring

Method

Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Add sour cream, beat well. Add flavorings and be in dry ingredients. Pour into a greased floured pan.

Bake in a preheated oven, 325-degrees for about 1.5 hours.
