1 cup sugar for sour apples
3/4 cup for sweet apples
1 heaping tablespoon cinnamon


Combine sugar and flour. Fill pie crust 1/2 full of apples. Add 1/2 of sugar and flour. Add the rest of the apples and the rest of the sugar and flour. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Place crust over the pie and cut on top and press to bottom crust. Wet edge of bottom crust slightly. Sugar top crust. Bake in a 425-degree oven until brown and cooking.
