Ingredients
2 medium size onions
3 tablespoons butter or salad oil
1 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons Red Hot pepper sauce
Method
Chop onions and lightly brown in butter. Add remaining ingredients and simmer fifteen minutes. Pour this over 2 dozen split franks. Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 30 minutes. The flavor goes through better when franks are split.
