Butter Cookies - Verdin

Ingredients

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tablespoon milk
3 cups flour
2 heaping teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon of any desired flavor

Method

Work butter to a cream, gradually add sugar, beat until the mass is creamy, beat in eggs, beat a moment, sift flour and baking powder and add to the first mixture with milk and flavoring.

Roll out very thin, cut with a cutter, and bake in a hot oven [400-degrees] until delicate brown.
