Pat out biscuit dough to 1/4-inch thickness; brush with melted butter and sprinkle heavily with brown sugar. Cover with chopped pecans and roll up like a jelly roll. Cut in 3/4-inch slices and place, cut side down, on a baking sheet which has been coated with butter or margarine and sprinkled with brown sugar and chopped pecans.
Bake 12-15 minutes. Remove from pan immediately and serve, butterscotch side up.
