Ingredients 6-8 apples 1/2 cup sugar, plus 1/2 cup water Cinnamon Butter Method Polish 6-8 apples.  Core them.  Fill with mixed sugar and cinnamon.  Dot top with butter.  Put in a pan with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar.  Bake in a moderate (375-degree) oven.  Bastoccasionallyly with the syrup in the pan.
