Ingredients
3 egg whites
1 cup sifted confectioner’s sugar
1/3 cup finely crumbled saltines
1 package semisweet chocolate pieces, melted
Method
Heat over to 350 degrees.
Beat 3 egg whites, until stiff but not dry. Add 1 cup sifted confectioner’s sugar slowly while beating constantly. With a spoon, fold in 1/3 cup finely crumbled saltines, and 1 package semisweet chocolate pieces, melted.
Drop by 1/2 teaspoonful 2-inches apart onto a greased cooky sheet. Bake about 13-15 minutes until firm to the touch.
Quite like marguerites, somewhat chewy. Good.
