1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 package (5 1/2 – ounce) Hershey’s Chocolate Kisses
Powdered Sugar


Preheat oven to 375-degrees.

Cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.  Stir in flour and nuts until well mixed.  Chill dough until firm.  Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls around each chocolate Kiss.  Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes until cookie is set and brown.  While still warm, place on cooling rack.  Sift on powdered sugar and cool on a rack.  If needed, sift again with powdered sugar before serving.
