Ingredients

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 stick margarine
1 cup water
4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon soda
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Icing:
1 stick margarine
4 tablespoons cocoa
6 tablespoons milk
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Method

Mix sugar and flour together in a large bowl; bring to a boil the margarine, water, and cocoa. Pour this mixture over flour and sugar. Add buttermilk, soda, salt, eggs, and vanilla. Make icing while baking the cake at 400-degrees for 20 minutes in a 11X16-inch pan. Pour icing over the hot cake as soon as removed from the oven. 

Icing:
Bring margarine, milk, and cocoa to a boil. Remove from heat and add nuts, powdered sugar, and nuts.
