Was searching for the steak stew I ate at clinkerdaggers in Tacoma some 40 years ago,but it had nice tender chunks of steak in it. Served in a cast iron little pot. This recipe doesn’t have any steak in it despite the name. It also tasted as if it had been slow cooked for some time.
Steak Pottage. I loved that restaurant and that dish. The staff all dressed up in 18th century English costume.
