Ingredients
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg, unbeaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup chopped coconut or chopped nuts
Method
Three bowls.
1. Cream butter or margarine, softened, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
2. Coconut & oatmeal; mix.
3. Flour, baking powder, salt, soda; mix.
Bake at 375-degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
