Coffee Cream Frosting


4 3/4 cups (1 pound) confectioners’ sugar
2 tablespoons instant coffee
1/3 cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoon soft butter


Combine 4 3/4 cups (1 pound) sifted confectioners’ sugar, 2 tablespoons instant coffee, 1/3 cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix well.  Add 6 tablespoons soft butter.   Beat until smooth and creamy.  Spread between, on sides and on top of cooled cake layers.  Sprinkle with chopped nuts. 

Frosts 8 or 9-inch layer cake.
