Ingredients
- 1/2 pound spaghetti
- 1 pint canned tomatoes
- 3/4 cup sliced or chopped onion
- 1 pound hamburger steak
- 1/2 cup oil or butter
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
- Cook spaghetti in salted water until tender.
- Cook tomato, salt, and onion in the fat in an iron skillet until onion is tender but not too brown.
- Add hamburger to the onion mixture.
- Stir and cook until all the red color has left the meat.
- Then add the drained spaghetti and grated cheese.
- Mix carefully with a fork.
- Put into a casserole and reheat in over about 15 minutes.
