Ingredients

1 cup raw white rice
5-6 large onions
3 tablespoons butter
1 – 1 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or mace
1 1/2 cups top milk

Method

1 cup raw white rice, cook as directed.  Peel and slice quite thin 5-6 large onions.  Saute in skillet until tender in 3 tablespoons butter.  Add cooked rice and 1 – 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg or mace.  Heat very well.  Add 1 1/2 cups top milk, heat again.

Wonderful with roast lamb
