Dandelion Wine


4 quarts dandelion blossoms
4 quarts water
Grated rind, 2 oranges
Grated rind, 1 lemon
4 pounds sugar


Boil 4 quarts dandelion blossoms, 4 quarts water, grated rind 2 oranges and grated rind of 1 lemon for 20 minutes, then strain and add 4 pounds sugar, then slice oranges and lemons and let stand in an open vessel for 3 or 4 days, then strain and bottle.  

Let stand until done fermenting, then cork tightly.  If it is corked too soon, it will burst the bottle.
