1 box confectioner’s sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar*
1/3 cup Crisco
1 teaspoon flavoring
1/4 cup water (cold)

* No cream of tartar if red or pink

  1. Looking for a white frosting my Grandma would make. It would be about half inch thick. Moist inside and a thin crunch on the outer part. Thank you.
