2 2/3 cups whole wheat flour
3 1/2 cups water (or part milk & soy)
4 tablespoons oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

Raisins, optional


Mix all together, this should resemble a pancake batter. Pour into sizzling hot gem pans

Bake at 400-degrees for 40 minutes. 

Occasionally he woudl add 1 egg to improve the texture. We make them stiff and put on an oiled sheet. 

Yields 36 gems.
