Ente Mit Sauerkraut
Ingredients
6-pound duck
Salt and pepper
1 clove garlic
2 quarts sauerkraut
1 cup water
3 tablespoons sugar
Method
Wash, singe and clean duck. Season, rub with garlic and place in pan. Add sauerkraut, water, and sugar. Cover and bake in moderate oven, 350-degrees until tender and brown Allow 20 to 25 minutes per pound.
