Ingredients
3/4 cup crushed berries
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Pie shell
Fresh Strawberries
Method
Boil until thick: 3/4 cup crushed berries, 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons cornstarch, 1/2 cup water, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Cover bottom of a baked pie crust with well-drained and DIRED berries. Pour cooked sauce over which has been cooled. Serve with whipped cream.
Double for one large pie.
