Fudge Pudding Cake


1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup boiling water


Sift flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa – 3 times.  Combine {vanilla}, milk, and margarine, add dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread in a 6 cup casserole. Mix brown sugar with the remaining 4 tablespoons of cocoa. Sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over top. Bake at 350-degrees for 50 minutes.
