18 Oreo Cookies
1/3 cup margarine

1 quart vanilla ice cream


Chocolate Sauce

2 squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon margarine
2/3 cup evaporated milk



Crush 18 cream-filled Oreo Cookies into fine crumbs. I put the crushed cookies between2 pieces of waxed paper and use a rolling pin.  Add 1/3 cup melted margarine. Press this into a pie pan. Freeze.

Fill frozen pie shell with 1-quart vanilla ice cream. Freeze. 

Chocolate Sauce

Melt 2 squares semi-sweet chocolate over hot water. Stir in 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon margarine. Add 2/3 cup evaporated milk and cook until thick, (about 10 minutes), chill. 

Spread chocolate sauce over frozen pie and return to the freezer. 

To serve: slice frozen pie and decorate with a spoon of cool whip and a cherry on each piece of the pie.
