24 Hour Fruit Salad
A handwritten vintage recipe for a 24 Hour Fruit Salad; make this 24 Hour Salad with egg yolks, mustard, lemon juice, whipping cream, grapes, pineapple, and marshmallows. This fruit salad must be made the day before, put in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
Yolks of 4 eggs, beaten
1/4 teaspoon mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
1-pint whipping cream, whipped stiff
1 pound grapes, halved and seeded
1 large pineapple, drained
Marshmallows
Method
Mix together beaten egg yolks, mustard, and lemon; cook in a double boiler unit it resembles soft scrambled eggs. Add 1 pint of whipping cream, beaten stiff, a little at a time until it is all used, then pour over one pound of grapes, halved and seeded, 1 large {can} pineapple, drained, and cut some marshmallows and add.
This must be made the day before, put in the refrigerator.
Serves about 12.
