Ingredients

  • 1 No 2 can asparagus
  • 4 hard cooked {boiled} eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup mushroom soup {Cream of Mushroom}
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Method

  • Drain Asparagus.
  • Place layers of asparagus and sliced hard-cooked eggs in buttered casserole {dish}.
  • Sprinkle Cheese.
  • Pour one-half of Mushroom Soup over this.
  • Repeat Layers.
  • Pour remainder of soup over contents of dish.
  • {Bake} 350 degrees in oven until done.

  1. My favorite side dish at Thanksgiving was my sister’s asparagus casserole. I got homesick the moment I found this recipe online. It even looks a lot like her handwriting. She’s no longer with us and home is a place in my heart now, so thank you for sharing this. I look forward to trying it and going home when I taste it.

    I have this all the time . I use 2 cans of asparagus . 1 can soup . Eggs and cheese on top . Nana made this and mama and me ! Love it !
