Cheese Crispies

Cheese Crispies, a vintage handwritten recipe card


2 cups flour
2 cups Rice Krispies
2 sticks oleo
8 ounces sharp grated cheese
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (more if stronger flavor needed)
1/4 teaspoon salt


Cut oleo into flour until it is of a meal like consistency.  Add other ingredients (I don't like the R.K. whole, so I put them in a bag and crush them a little).  Mix ingredients and work with your hands. Can be chilled for a little while for easier handling. 

Roll into small balls, marble size. Mash with {fork}. 

Cook 15 minutes in 350-degree oven. 

Freeze excellently!
