Chinese Barbecued Spare Ribs

Ingredients

1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 pound spareribs, cut in serving pieces

Method

Combine pineapple juice, syrup, salt, and soy sauce in a bowl and allow ribs to marinate abut 45 minutes; turning occasionally.  Place ribs on a rack in a pan lined with foil. Roast in a moderate oven (350-degrees) about 1 1/2 hours, brushing with marinade occasionally and turning to brown.
