Congealed Waldorf Salad


1 package apple Jell-O
2 cups hot water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup diced apple
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup dates
1 tablespoon orange peel


Dissolve gelatine in hot water, add lemon juice, chill until the consistency of unbeaten egg white. Fold in remaining ingredients, chill until firm.
