Cream Filling


5 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk, scalded
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla


Mix flour, sugar, and salt; slowly stir in milk, cook in double boiler 15 minutes. Add a little of the hot mixture to the eggs, stir into the remaining hot mixture. Continue cooking 3 minutes, add vanilla, cool.
