Peach Puff Pudding

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups milk
2 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel (dry peel can be used)
2 cups sliced fresh peaches

Method

Scald milk and pour milk over bread cubes. Let stand 10 minutes, add melted butter, beaten eggs, honey, sugar, salt, vanilla, and lemon peel. Mix well and add fresh peaches (diced). 

Pour into a buttered 8x8x2-inch pan. Bake at 350-degrees about 45 minutes. 

Makes 4-6 servings.

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
