June's Chicken Liver Hors d'Oeuvres


2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup mushroom stock
Salt and pepper
1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 hardboiled egg, chopped
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon onion juice
4 chicken livers, fried and grated

Pie dough


Make gravy-sauce of the first three ingredients. Add remaining ingredients, cook together until thick. 

Prepare pie dough sufficient for one pie crust. Roll out and cut in 3-inch squares. Add 1/2 teaspoon of liver mixture to each square, fold over and crimp with a fork. 

Bake 10-15 minutes at 375-degrees.
