Ingredients
6 cups lettuce/greens chopped
3 or 4 cups lettuce
3 to 4 cups spinach
salt, white pepper, sugar
6 hard-boiled eggs, grated or sliced
1 10-ounce package frozen English peas, not cooked drain and dry on a towel
10 pieces bacon – cooked, drained and crumbled (1 pound)
2 cups grated swiss cheese
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1 cup Hellman’s mayonnaise
Method
Layer 1/2 greens, hand-full of green onions, salt, pepper, bell pepper, celery, sugar, hand-full peas, eggs, bacon, cheese. Repeat and end with cheese. Cover and seal with mayonnaise and paprika. Seal with saran-wrap let set overnight in the refrigerator.
