Ingredients

1 cup raisins
1/2 cup water
1 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup fat
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups raw oats (quick)

Method

Put raisins in a small pan, add 1/2 cup water, heat to a boil. Set aside and cool. 

Sift and measure 1 cup of flour add baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. 

Mix sugar and fat in mixing bowl, add the egg; stir in 1/2 of the flour, add raisins and liquids. Stir and mix well, add the other 1/2 of the flour; add oats and stir well. 

Drop on a cookie sheet, bake at 375-degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
